Designed removable watertight glass holder Bio-5000 is equipped with a removable and watertight glass holder that can be easily pulled out by hands to be washed and cleaned. Images of wet/dry gel samples are captured with the mechanism design of Microtek Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology (E.D.I.T.). Users can capture images directly from gel surface handily no matter the samples are dry or wet.
Deliver the accurate images no matter the scanned target is uneven or crease reflective or films Microtek Bio-5000 technology solves the limit of the short DOF (depth of field) with high resolution. It also allows users to shift the focusing point on scanned targets; therefore, users can correct deficiencies on scanned targets easily and quickly.
Microtek patented E.D.I.T. Microtek's patented E.D.I.T. (Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology) allows you to capture images directly from the emulsion surface of the originals without an interfering pane of glass. This results in distortion-free images, diminished light refraction, and the elimination of "Newton Rings" — those annoying and extremely hard-toremove concentric circles that result from scanning a transparency through a glass plate.
